So, I finally turn 28 this weekend... its pretty exciting considering I've spent a good portion of the last year thinking I was already 28. So readership of 4, what were you doing at age 28? It's really strange you know... time races by and yet the time from this birthday to the last seems to have gone by quite slow.
In lesser news, it looks like Kate and I will be taking our first cruise before I deploy in late June-early July.

Happy Birthday!
Ahh - cruise. You will love it. Especially since you are probably cruising Europe. Jealous yet again!
As for your question...
I must say, the summer I turned 28 was one of the best ever.
1. The night before my 28th birthday I was worried sick wondering where in the heck this certain friend of mine (ahem, Katie) had gone off to in the middle of the night. I was so tired and didn't want to get out of bed, but all I kept thinking was - if anything happens to her, her mom will kill me!
2. I spent my 28th birthday surrounded by great friends (and my husband) in West Virginia. I got a candle with every meal!
3. Shortly after my 28th birthday I jumped in a car with 2 great friends and headed to Illinois (I couldn't let them miss all of those great concerts!) - which some might just say was one of the best things I ever did.
Good times! Thanks for asking! :-)
My 28th bday was in 1994...it's so hard to remember back that far! LOL Well, it was the first year of homeschooling Katie, had a 14-month toddler to keep track of, stretching every penny (Randy had his own business...not good - leave it at that ) $25 a week grocery budget for a family of 6 - fun days!!! ugh...
I really wouldn't want to go back, those were hard days. Homeschooling 4 kids now seems like a breeze compared to that first year with Kate.....I expected way too much from her (poor Katie - I'm so blessed she still loves me!) I'm thankful for a bigger grocery budget...especially with Andrew in the house!
I'm glad your birthday was good! I pray blessings on your whole 28th year!
Love you!
Hmm... When I turned 28 I lost my memory and thought I was still 26. Wait a minute! I'm only 26. You're an old man Jason Noel! Congrats on reaching 28.
Related - I was watching the news or something and saw that the human brain is at its peak at age 22. Sad yes.. but they were also saying that after age 27 the human brain starts to decline. Have you found this to be true? Is school harder for you now or back when you were 18? I have a year before I reach this decline and would like to know your take on it! ;)
Happy belated birthday!
